1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to PULSE SMS Notifications operated by PLO Logistics LLC for current employees and delivery associates. PULSE SMS is an informational, work-related messaging program and is not used to send third-party advertising or promotional offers.
2. Information we collect
When an individual enrolls, PLO Logistics LLC may collect the person’s name, employee or Transporter ID, mobile phone number, consent status, consent language version, and the date, time, and source of consent. We may also retain message-delivery status, opt-out status, and support or help requests related to the program.
3. How the information is used
This information is used to administer PULSE messaging, verify enrollment, deliver operational notifications, maintain consent and opt-out records, provide support, troubleshoot delivery, and meet legal, carrier, and compliance recordkeeping requirements.
4. Mobile-number and consent-data non-sharing
PLO Logistics LLC does not sell, rent, or provide mobile phone numbers or SMS messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers strictly necessary to operate and deliver the PULSE messaging service. Those providers may use the information only to provide the messaging service and not for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Types and frequency of messages
PULSE messages may include schedule and start-time reminders, attendance notifications, route or loadout updates, vehicle or device assignments, safety notices, training reminders, pickup-failure alerts, and other work-related operational communications. Message frequency varies based on the recipient’s schedule and operational activity. Message and data rates may apply.
6. Opting out and requesting help
Recipients may reply STOP at any time to opt out of PULSE SMS messages. After opting out, a recipient may receive one final message confirming the opt-out. Recipients may reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not prevent PLO Logistics LLC from communicating through other authorized work-related channels.
7. Retention and security
PLO Logistics LLC retains consent and messaging records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, document consent, process opt-outs, resolve delivery issues, and satisfy legal or compliance obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect the information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
